Steinem vs. Palin

I’m not going to lie – in the last election I voted republican. What a mistake that was! I came across this article on the Political Machine on Aol.com, and even though it doesn’t dig into the details it provides a general overview on why Sarah Palin was a poor VP choice. Check it out: Woman Against Palin

By the way, was it just me or did the Republican National Convention remind you of a southern religious gathering of pro-gun hicks? So strange.

Oh and if Sarah Palin really believes that her political agenda is the "will of God," a mental institution should be her next residence, not Washington D.C. As she seems quite confident the creator of the whole universe is a supporter of her plan for the war in Iraq and for a fossil fuel pipeline in Alaska. Yikes!

Who are you voting for in November?

Not Palin!!!Thanks Jess for trying to enlighten those unfortunate souls that haven't seen the light yet...I sincerely hope that people will put aside the poisonous rhetoric that has threatened to make this campaign a "cultural war"...keep speaking the truth!

Obama all the way....and btw, the WSJ was bought by the same bs company that cranks out Fox News, so I wouldn't use them as a trusted news source anymore. Fair and Balanced my ass. i believe obama will win if we all pull together and if we reallly think about what would happen if mccain and palin won this election. mccain = poor health = dying = palin's president = i'm moving to canada.

Who cares who owns WSJ if you can give credit to the facts stated in the article. And if McCain happened to pass away in the next four years...? A little off focus are we? These seem to be random ways to defend your opinion of Obama, but what about defending the claims against Obama and his policies that were actually made in that article? It's one thing to support a candidate, but unfortunately I think it's simply easier for most people to gossip, rant, and complain about the negative aspects of the opponent. There will always be negative perspectives to both parties & candidates in all elecetions. I'd be way more interested in reading specificly why someone supports Obama; not why they hate McCain & Palin.

Just to clarify - The comment posted above by Jessica is not by the author.

By the way, thanks to everyone for keeping the conversation going. I love hearing all the different opinions.
