September 11th

Today we put aside the presidential campaign. Today we stand united as a country. We remember the shock and devastation of this day seven years ago. It will never fade. No matter what your faith is, we all say a prayer for the nearly 3,000 people that lost their lives. Never forget, always remember, we are one.

: ( I wish the political campaigning DID stop today. Unfortunately, the candidates "saying" they are taking the day off of campaigning and not airing their parties ads on the TV, doesn't mean their not campaigning. I don't know who they think they are really fooling. In order for them at this point not to be campaigning, with the magnifying glasses on every move they make, they would have to stay out of the media COMPLETELY today. Them visiting ground zero "together" will be analyzed to death tomorrow, watch! "where was Michelle? I thought she was "proud" of her country"...and HELL! They had a "conversation" at Columbia tonight that aired! How is that not campaigning?!?!! Come on! This day if for remembrance... God bless!

I meant "personally" I put the campaigning aside. And I completely agree with you - I wish the candidates had too!
